The company is a joint stock firm primarily engaged in the extraction and production of minerals. The company was established in 1963, and has its registered head office in Incio, Spain. The company's products include magnesium carbonate and magnesium oxide. Its products are used in various applications, such as animal feed, fertilizers, acidity adjustment in agricultural soils, extraction of magnesium metal, and treatment of soils contaminated by heavy metals and hydrocarbons. The company has developed and maintains a quality product system certified according to the GMP-13 Standard for the use of magnesium oxide, MAGAL, as a raw material in animal feeds, with procedures underway for the integration of the new IFIS standard managed by IFSA.
